Through collaboration between the Reuters Foundation and the Stanley Foundation, six American reporters were paired up with six Chinese reporters for an international news writing and reporting course in Beijing, China, Nov. 10-14.

 

There they explored the future of China’s economy, capitalism and communism, freedom of the press issues and China’s rise as a global power.

 

The participating journalists included:

James Ritchie, business reporter, Business Courier of Cincinnati

Nicole Wong, business reporter, The Boston Globe
